Luxury Is Not The Goal, Alignment Is
Share
One thing I have learned recently is this: Luxury is not actually my goal.
Alignment is.
For years, I thought success looked like:
- more money
- more visibility
- more freedom
- more access
- more opportunities
- more experiences
- more beautiful things
And honestly? Part of that came from lack.
When you grow up watching people stretch resources, repurpose things, and survive difficult seasons, there is a natural desire to someday experience ease.
But lately, I have been realizing something important.
Ease and excess are not the same thing.
And honestly? Some people look wealthy externally while emotionally exhausted internally.
That is not the life I want.
I want:
- meaningful work
- sustainable confidence
- intentional relationships
- peaceful growth
- stewardship
- flexibility
- creativity
- alignment
And honestly? That realization is changing how I build The Green Rose Experience.
I no longer want the brand to represent:
- performative luxury
- emotional spending
- overconsumption
- impressiveness for validation
I want it to represent:
- intentionality
- confidence
- sustainability
- awareness
- creativity
- resourcefulness
- aligned living
Because honestly? Alignment ages better than performance.

Proverbs 15:16 “Better a little with the fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil.”
